Staying at the Pension Prague City was a mixed experience. While the rooms were a bit challenging, the service and location had their positives. The dining options and facilities, however, left much to be desired.

My room was on the third floor and unfortunately smelled like smoke, which was not pleasant. It made me wish I had chosen a different place at that time.

The service here was a bit of a rollercoaster. On one hand, staff would come in and leave loudly during the night, which was unsettling. On the other hand, they tried hard to deal with inconveniences like blocked cars and the hot water problem, although some encounters with the receptionist were quite rude.

The location didn't make the greatest first impression and felt a bit scary initially, especially for solo female travelers. However, being on floor 3 or above made the experience better. The area had various dining options and stores open till late, which was convenient.

My stay at the hotel was cozy and convenient. The rooms, although a bit tiny and not as clean as expected, were still comfortable. The staff was obliging and kind, making our experience pleasant. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It was prettier in the pictures, but the rooms were pretty loud, and there was no elevator. The room itself was very basic with no tea or coffee facilities, a very small TV up against the ceiling, and just one tiny bar of soap. The bed was surprisingly two single beds instead of the double room we booked. On the bright side, the rooms are always very clean.
